
D-Group FAQ
What is a D-Group? A D-Group is a discipleship group of 3-5 same gendered individuals that meet weekly for one hour.
What does the format D-Group meeting look like? A D-Group meeting is divided into 3 categories. Looking back, looking up, and looking forward.
Looking Back: (15 Minutes)
1.) Open in prayer.
2..) Share highs & lows from the week.
3.) A time of accountability.
Here are some accountability questions that can be asked.
Have you spent time in the Word and in prayer this week?
Have you shared the gospel or your testimony with an unbeliever this week.
Have you viewed anything immoral this week?
Have you had any lustful thoughts or tempting attitudes this week.
Have you told any self-promoting lies or half-truths this week?
Have you participated in anything unethical this week?
Have you lied about any of your answers today?
Looking Up: (30 Minutes)
The first semester of the D-Group will be groups going through the book Growing In Christ a 13 week study about the Christian faith. After that book is completed, your group will pick a book of the Bible to go through together.
Looking Ahead:
1.) Identify who each member of the group will try and share the gospel with that week.
2.) Take prayer requests for the week.
3.) Decide which memory verses your group wants to focus on that week.
